Your role as Talent & Culture Business Partner (Temporary contract 12-18 months)
Reporting to Anna Iacono, Director of Talent & Culture, the Talent & Culture Business Partner, we are looking to fill a maternity leave replacement where you will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to refine processes, optimize practices, and lead business-driven initiatives that foster employee retention, growth, and overall organizational success.
What you’ll be doing:
- Partner with leaders to understand goals, challenges and opportunities aligning strategic priorities across departments.
- Develop and execute talent retention strategies within client groups to enhance employee experience and ensure long-term retention of top talent.
- Advise senior leaders on key initiatives to foster a high-performance culture.
- Lead and support organizational transformation and change initiatives.
- Analyze and report on key HR metrics to inform strategic decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
- Drive cross-functional projects, managing timelines, resources, and stakeholder engagement.
- Contribute to the advancement of our Talent & Culture strategy by participating in company-wide initiatives.
- Manage complex employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with labor laws
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Industrial Relations, along with a CHRP designation.
- 7+ years of experience as an HRBP, with exposure to a labor relations environment.
- Proven ability to build credible, trusted relationships with client groups.
- Strong data-driven approach to support recommendations and influence decisions.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify, prioritize, and address challenges with scalable solutions.
- Innovative and solution-driven mindset with the ability to propose creative approaches to complex HR challenges.
- Demonstrated success in leading and delivering impactful projects.
- Influential leadership skills with the ability to inspire, guide, and align teams toward common objectives.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and French.
Please note that as we serve customers across Canada, bilingualism is essential for this position. You may be required to communicate in French and English.
