The Role

We are seeking a Product Manager to join our Emerging Solutions team, focused on Zero-Gap Renters Insurance (ZGRI) and supporting the Student Waiver product line. These innovative products are at the heart of TheGuarantors’ strategy to expand protection for operators while creating seamless renter experiences.

In this role, you will own the day-to-day product execution—translating strategy into deliverables, managing development cycles, and driving adoption. At the same time, you’ll contribute to strategic planning, customer research, and go-to-market alignment. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of execution and strategy, with a strong appreciation for the commercial side of product management.

What you’ll do

• Own the product lifecycle for Zero-Gap Renters Insurance, and support roadmap execution for Student Waiver.
• Translate business and customer needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Partner closely with engineering to deliver enhancements on time and with high quality.
• Manage product backlog and sprint execution, ensuring priorities reflect business impact and customer needs.
• Collaborate with operations, sales, customer success, and insurance partners to ensure alignment across delivery and adoption.
• Support go-to-market planning: help enable sales, partner with marketing on positioning/messaging, and drive adoption KPIs.
• Conduct user and market research to uncover insights, validate product direction, and identify new opportunities.
• Monitor product performance through analytics, feedback, and KPIs; use insights to iterate quickly.
• Serve as the day-to-day subject matter expert for ZGRI and Student Waiver internally, helping teams execute effectively.
• Contribute to long-term product vision and roadmap with the Senior PM and leadership team.

What We Are Looking For:

• 2+ years of product management experience, preferably in fintech, insurtech, or real estate technology.
• Demonstrated ability to own execution: backlog management, sprint planning, requirements gathering, and delivery.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience making data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to collaborate across technical and commercial teams.
• Experience in a client-facing or market-facing role (e.g., sales, customer success, GTM, product marketing, consulting) strongly preferred.
• Entrepreneurial mindset: resourceful, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and tools (Jira, Confluence, or similar).
• Background in insurance, risk, or property technology is a plus.

Base Salary

The base salary range is between $140,000 - $150,000 annually.

Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise, location and current market data and may vary from the range above.
