Build something people love
Wealthsimple is on a mission to help everyone achieve financial freedom by reimagining what it means to manage your money. Using smart technology, we take financial services that are often confusing and expensive and make them transparent and low-cost for everyone. We’re the largest fintech company in Canada, with 3+ million users who trust us with more than $100 billion in assets. And we’re just getting started.
We’re looking for someone who thinks big, sweats the small stuff and keeps things simple. You’ll join a high-bar, fast-paced team where people are trusted to own their work, communicate openly, and ship things that improve our clients’ lives. Collaboration, humility, and an obsession over quality are how we get stuff done.
We are hiring a Product Marketing Manager to support our householding and money management experiences, including features that help families better understand, organize, and optimize their financial lives. This role will play a meaningful part in driving the growth of Wealthsimple’s broader offering, spanning day-to-day money management, investing, and advice.
This is a role suited for someone excited to work across product surfaces and client needs, from spending insights and financial organization to longer-term wealth building. Experience with financial products — whether at a fintech or more traditional financial institution — is a strong asset, but curiosity, client empathy, and strong go-to-market fundamentals matter most.
About the Role
We are looking for a strategic and client-obsessed Product Marketing Manager to support our Households & Money Management product area. In this role, you’ll help shape how millions of Canadians manage money together — translating product capabilities into clear, confidence-building narratives that help clients feel more in control of their financial lives.
You’ll be responsible for deeply understanding our clients, their household financial behaviors, and the broader market landscape — and turning those insights into positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies that drive adoption, engagement, and trust.
Working closely with a Product Marketing Lead and cross-functional partners across Product, Growth, Brand, Design, Data Science, and more, you’ll support major launches and lead initiatives end-to-end. You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy balancing executional rigor with strategic thinking — and are energized by building products that simplify complex financial decisions for real people.
In this role you'll have the opportunity to:
- Support our largest go-to-market initiatives: Ensure major launches run smoothly by managing executional details across multiple stakeholders, embedding positioning across all client touchpoints, managing legal reviews, partnering with data teams to define success metrics, and synthesizing post-launch results and learnings.
- Lead smaller and mid-sized launches end-to-end: Own go-to-market strategy for features and initiatives within householding and money management — from shaping positioning and launch plans to leading cross-functional execution across channels.
- Become the voice of households and families: Develop a deep understanding of how individuals, couples, and families manage money together. Lead client research and analyze internal data to uncover unmet needs, adoption barriers, and growth opportunities, and champion those insights across Product, Marketing, and Leadership.
- Drive experimentation and iteration: Design and run scrappy experiments to test new ideas in messaging, feature framing, onboarding, or distribution, using results to inform whether and how to scale bigger bets.
- Shape market and competitive understanding: Own regular scans of the money management and personal finance landscape, including competitors, emerging consumer behaviors, and regulatory or ecosystem changes that could impact how we serve households.
- Stay ahead of industry and platform trends: Track trends across fintech, personal finance, and wealth management, proactively proposing new opportunities for product differentiation, thought leadership, or client education.
- Operate as an AI-native marketer: Leverage AI tools to synthesize insights from sales, support, product feedback, and data, improving competitive tracking, sharpening positioning, and increasing the speed and quality of your output while helping upskill the broader team.
What you’ll bring:
- 5+ years of experience in product marketing or adjacent marketing roles at high-growth technology companies
- Experience with financial products (fintech, banking, investing, or personal finance) is a strong plus, but not required
- Proven ability to develop go-to-market strategies, shape positioning, and translate strategy documents into live campaigns
- Comfort working with customer and product data to uncover insights, assess impact, and inform decisions
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills. You enable others to do their best work and keep teams aligned
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders and moving work forward in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all client-facing materials
- A bias toward action and experimentation, with the judgment to know when to test versus scale
- A growth mindset and challenger mentality. You question assumptions and look for better ways to do things
- Fluency with AI tools that improve productivity, insight generation, and creative execution
