This trainee-level position provides comprehensive training on GDPR and other data protection regulations, offers an exciting opportunity to develop legal and analytical skills, and allows you to gain hands-on experience in the field of data protection and privacy compliance within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
As a DPO Trainee, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our Data Protection Officer in the day-to-day task of ensuring privacy compliance.

This trainee-level position provides comprehensive training on GDPR and other data protection regulations, offers an exciting opportunity to develop legal and analytical skills, and allows you to gain hands-on experience in the field of data protection and privacy compliance within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
As a DPO Trainee, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our Data Protection Officer in the day-to-day task of ensuring privacy compliance.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Assist in monitoring and ensuring compliance with data protection laws (such as GDPR) across the company
- Support in handling Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) and responding to privacy-related inquiries
- Support the preparation of data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) and data protection risk evaluations
- Contribute to conducting DD assessments of third parties and service providers
- Collaborate with various departments in order to update the Register of Processing Activities (ROPA)
- Help in reviewing and drafting data processing agreements, privacy notices, and other legal documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on data protection initiatives and awareness campaigns
- Stay up to date with changes in data protection laws, and the EDPB guidelines and help update internal policies and procedures accordingly
- You hold a Bachelor’s law degree or you are currently pursuing a Master’s in law & technology or data protection
- Having previous professional experience working within DPO departments is a plus, but not required for traineeship positions
- Having a CIPP/E, CIPM certification or any equivalent certification is a plus
- You are fluent in English and any other (EU) language
- You are dynamic, curious, and have the willingness to learn
- Strong interest in data protection and privacy laws, especially GDPR
- Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Paid Internship (3 months starting from 11/2024)
